Dee is one of the founding members of the Happily Hooked on Crocheting Club, Connecticut Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America.
Dee is a moderator for the online group, Connecticut Crochet, offered by the HHCC. This group was created to help other Connecticut, and surrounding area crocheters, connect.
Dee has been a proud member of the CGOA since 2001, and is now a Professional Member. Dee has served as their Volunteer Email Correspondent from 2001-2008; and is now the Events Committee Chairperson.

The CGOA has it's National Conference in the Summer, and Regional Conference in the fall. The locations vary. Dee taught at the National 2008 & 2009 Conference held in New Hampshire.
Dee has served on the Planning Committee for the "Knit Out & Crochet Too" events held in New York City, as well as volunteered to teach crochet during the KOC2 event. Dee is a CYCA Certified Crochet Teacher, accredited through FIT.
Dee enjoys being a member of the New York City Crochet Guild, New York Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America.
Dee enjoys chatting with other fiberholics on Ravelry using the Ravatar name "CrochetWithDee."
